What this policy covers

This policy applies to services purchased from ANEC Ventures LLC d/b/a RenegAIDE Collective (“RenegAIDE Collective,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and to training programs we deliver alone or with our sister firm, Solsis Energy Advising & Training LLC d/b/a Renewable Renegades. Where a signed Client Agreement, purchase order, or government or institutional contract sets different terms, that document controls.

Advising, architecture, Digital Helper builds, and Command Center engagements

• Before kickoff: deposits are refundable in full if you cancel in writing before the kickoff meeting, less any non-recoverable third-party costs we incurred on your behalf.
• After kickoff: deposits and retainers are non-refundable once work has begun. Work completed to date is billed at the agreed rate.
• Monthly retainers: either party may end a retainer with thirty days' written notice. Fees for the notice period remain due; unused prepaid months beyond the notice period are refunded.
• Change of scope: if you reduce scope after kickoff, fees already earned are not refunded; future phases not yet started are removed from the invoice.

Self-paced courses and digital products

You may request a full refund within seven days of purchase if you have completed less than twenty percent of the course and no certificate has been issued. After seven days, or once more than twenty percent is completed or a certificate is issued, purchases are non-refundable. Access to a refunded course ends when the refund is processed.

Live trainings, cohorts, and workshops

• Seven or more days before the start date: full refund, or transfer to a later cohort at no charge.
• Within seven days of the start date: no refund, but your seat may be transferred to another cohort within twelve months or to another participant from your organization.
• No-shows and partial attendance: not refundable. Certificates require completion of the required sessions and assessments.
• If we cancel or reschedule: you may choose a full refund or a seat in the rescheduled session.
• Employer reimbursement programs: if your training is reimbursed by a workforce training fund, refunds or transfers may affect your eligibility. You are responsible for informing the program administrator.

Speaking and facilitation

Speaking deposits are non-refundable within thirty days of the event date. Events canceled earlier receive a refund of the deposit less any non-refundable travel already booked. Events postponed for reasons outside either party's control, such as weather, public health orders, or venue failure, will be rescheduled within twelve months at no additional fee.

Government and institutional contracts

Engagements under a government, institutional, or grant-funded contract follow the cancellation, termination, and payment terms of that contract and its procurement rules, which take precedence over this policy.

How to request a refund or transfer

Email beth@renewablerenegades.com with your name, organization, the service or course, the purchase date, and the reason. We acknowledge requests within two business days and process approved refunds within ten business days to the original payment method. Processing fees charged by payment providers are not refundable where the provider does not return them to us.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank before contacting us, we will provide the payment processor with our records of the purchase, the services delivered, and this policy. We would rather talk first. Most concerns can be resolved with one email.
