Training and the AI Academy

Trained,not assumed.

Adoption fails when training is a lunch-and-learn and a prayer. The AI Academy is twelve courses with assessments, rubrics, and a certificate, delivered live by people who have trained more than 1,400 individuals and business owners, together with our sister firm Renewable Renegades.

Who it is for

Three rooms. Three curricula. One standard.

Frontline teams

The people doing the work: intake, field, admin, drivers, contractors. Practical, hands-on, in their language, on instructor-supplied scenarios so every session is training, not billable consulting.

Supervisors and managers

Policy, review checkpoints, what to approve and what to escalate, and how to coach a team through the first ninety days of a new helper.

Leadership and boards

Governance, risk, procurement, and the funding conversation. Sixty to ninety minutes, plain language, decisions at the end.

The AI Academy

Twelve courses. Twelve certificates. One standardized curriculum.

Every course ships with assessments, rubrics, and a certificate of completion. Every activity runs the same loop: AI draft, evidence check, human judgment, edit, publish. AI is the accelerator. The learner stays the source of truth.

Cohorts run live and instructor-led, virtual, on-site across Massachusetts and the Northeast, or hybrid, in groups of eight to thirty-five. Formats range from a 75-minute build to a multi-week academy.

Foundations

AI literacy for the real world, prompting that holds up, privacy and policy, and the ethics of using AI on other people's data.

Operations

Documents and data, building SOPs with AI, project management and operations, and measuring what changed.

Growth

Marketing in your own voice, LinkedIn visibility and authority, proposals and grants with evidence checks.

Systems

Digital Helpers™ for non-developers, automation basics, and reporting outcomes to a funder or a board.

State-approved · Express ProgramAdditional courses under state review

State-approved in Massachusetts.

Sixteen of our courses are approved under the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Express Program, administered by Commonwealth Corporation, with more under review.

Eligible Massachusetts employers may be reimbursed for a portion of approved course costs. We walk you through the application. It is the Money leg, and we do not skip it. Employers outside Massachusetts: ask us about your state's workforce training fund; most have one.

How reimbursement usually works
  1. You pick approved courses and a schedule that fits paid work hours.
  2. You apply through the state portal before training starts. We supply every document the application asks for.
  3. Training runs live and instructor-led with attendance and assessments recorded.
  4. You submit for reimbursement with our completion records attached.

Eligibility, rates, and caps are set by the program and change over time. We confirm the current rules with you before you apply and never quote a figure we cannot source.

Mentorship and workforce programs

Career development that counts community anchors as professional spaces.

Clean energy mentorship circles

Culturally competent career development for participants from high school through graduate age: personal narrative, networking, and the affinity organizations that open doors. Built for the SIPS mentorship circles with Browning the Green Space.

Climate and clean energy workforce partnerships

Program design, partner MOUs, and project direction for clean energy workforce initiatives, including MassCEC-funded planning work with a six-partner team.

Live builds for beginners

Seventy-five minutes, a stress-free build guide in hand, and a working helper by the end. Built for small business owners, solopreneurs, contractors, and gig workers meeting AI for the first time.

What we measure

Outcomes a funder can read.

  • Completion rates and assessment scores, by cohort
  • Hours returned per week after training, self-reported and verified
  • Policies and SOPs written during and after the program
  • Helpers deployed with named owners within ninety days
  • Reimbursement dollars secured through workforce training funds
